Drug Uses
Zaditor is used to combat itching of the eye that may be due to allergies.

How to use
Zaditor are drops that have to be put in the eye directly. To do this, wash your hands and tilt your head back. Pull the lower eyelid with your index finger, so that a circular, deep area is formed. Press at the bottle so that the medicine is dropped into the area and close your eyes. Apply pressure to the inside corner of the eyelid for a couple of minutes. Wipe the area around your eye with a clean and dry tissue to remove any excess medicine. Make sure that you do not touch your eye and do not blink it immediately after putting the medicine. Wash your hands once you have put the medicine.

Zaditor is a medicine that is put directly into the eye, one of the most vital organs of the body; therefore make sure that the medicine is safe from contamination. Make sure that the tip of the applicator has not come in contact with any outside surface, including the eye. Keep the container closed in a safe and isolated area.

Zaditor drops are meant for to be applied directly into the eye and are not meant for oral consumption. Do not drink these drops. If you wear contact lenses, refrain from wearing them if you eyes are red after using Zaditor drops.

Zaditor drops are not meant to cure irritation in the eye caused due to contact lenses. Make sure that you remove your contact lenses before applying Zaditor drops. Contact lenses can be put back on after ten minutes of using Zaditor drops.

Drug Class and Mechanism

Zaditor is an antihistamine and works as a mast cell stabilizer. It blocks the release of chemicals from the cells that cause or are involved in the allergic reactions.
Missed Dose

In case of a missed dose, make sure that you take the dose only if you are not too close to your next dose timings. Do not take two doses at once.
Storage

Zaditor can be stored at room temperature, between 68 and 77 degrees. The medicine should be stored in a cool place, away from heat, light and moisture. Do not store Zaditone In the bathroom. Make sure that Zaditor is stored in a tight, light resistant container. Zaditor should be kept out of reach of children and pets.
 

 Warnings/Precautions

Some of the ingredients in Zaditor may be allergic in your case. Do not use Zaditor in such cases. Also, like every medicine, consult your doctor or health care provider before using Zaditor. Make sure that you inform your doctor or health care provider about the following:

You are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breast feeding.
You are taking any kind of prescription based or non prescription based medicine.
You are taking any kind of dietary supplement.
If you are taking kind of herbal supplement.
If you are allergic to some kinds of medicines and foods.
